                                                                       Subject: Commitment to Extracurricular Activities

Dear Cadets,

This is a reminder that when you sign up for any extracurricular activity, you are making a commitment—not only to yourself, but also to your peers, instructors, and the success of the program.

Please be advised that failing to attend or participate in scheduled activities without a valid reason or prior notice may result in your exclusion from future extracurricular opportunities. These activities require dedication, discipline, and teamwork—qualities we expect each cadet to uphold.

As lunch is not provided, cadets are required to bring a snack/lunch and water.

If you are unable to participate due to a legitimate reason, you must please submit the “leave request” form found on the home page of the Kingsmill website in advance and provide appropriate justification.

We appreciate your cooperation and continued commitment to excellence.

Respectfully,
SLt (NL) Manon Mailhot
Commanding Officer
NLCC Vice Admiral Kingsmill

Parents are to drop off their cadets at City Hall, Lisgar St at 10:15 am for the march off at 11:00 am. The parade will take a new route this year starting from the Queen Elizabeth Driveway at Somerset Street, proceeding southbound along the driveway and ending at Lansdowne Park in front of the Horticulture Building at approximately 12:15 for pick up.

For the band –
  • drummers should leave the drum boxes in their vehicles since we start and end at different locations
  • fife players need gloves that work with the fife
  • all drummers should bring a fife should they get tired of holding the drum and need to switch out
