The Corps is STOOD DOWN (NO cadets)
for regular training and band training Sunday 17 May 2026 for Victoria Day
Wednesday 13 May - The commanding officer of RCSCC Falkland has invited Kingsmill cadets who will be ageing out of our program to visit the sea cadet corps from 1820 (6:20 PM) to approx. 1900 (7:00 PM). Admittance will be by the front door. Kingsmill cadets must be in uniform and accompanied by a parent/guardian. After remarks from Commanding Officer Capt. Ryan, NL cadets will have the opportunity for to circulate and observe a portion of a sea cadet training night. Promotions - BRAVO ZULU to all the cadets promoted on Sunday, May 10th! Promotion certificates have been sent to your @navyleagueofcanada.org account.
Cadets who received their cap tally when promoted to Ordinary Cadet may find attaching it appropriately to the white top can be challenging. Here is a video demonstrating exactly how it should be done: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZsBVOSfQfFM
Please do not trim the ends of the tally until you are absolutely certain it is positioned correctly! Good luck!

The NLOB supports NLCC Vice Admiral Kingsmill's training program in a wide range of ways including, but not limited to, uniforms, recreational and educational trips, equipment for training, and the purchase of awards to recognize Kingsmill cadets' achievements. The Navy League of Canada Ontario Division has partnered with "Micharity" to organize a structured process to collect and distribute donations to the Branch of your choice and send charitable receipts immediately. Please consider making an online donation to our sponsoring Branch (NLOB) in support of cadet activities in our community. To donate to the NLOB, the NLOB has set up a link on their home page at www.ottawanavyleague.org, or the link can be directly accessed by clicking HERE. Donations using this link will be forwarded from the Ontario Division to the Ottawa Branch. However, please include a dedication on the form to the "Ottawa Branch" with the subject "Donation" to [email protected]. This will help the NLOB monitor it locally. Your generous donations will have a huge impact on helping us deliver a youth program that is second to none and help young Canadians develop into our leaders of tomorrow. Thank you!
